Biggie Babylon’s “Small Town Girl” Wins Z90 Hotshot Contest

Biggie Babylon has reclaimed his title of “Hotshot” in San Diego. XHITZ-FM (Z90) radio host, Pandar, crowned Biggie Babylon the winner of September 2016’s “Hotshot” contest.  The contest previews the music of four local artists on the air and asks listeners to vote for their favorite song.  Biggie Babylon’s “Small Town Girl” received the most votes, thus re-capturing the title for the Chaldean rapper.  It’s the second win and third nomination for Biggie Babylon. “The UBER Song” proved to be the “Hotshot” song of the summer by winning the contest in June 2016 and “Monopoly” was second place in 2015.

For winning the contest, “Small Town Girl” gets more radio airplay in San Diego/Tijuana and Biggie Babylon was invited in studio for an interview with Pandar.  The #OneUmbrella client discusses his current single, the future of the San Diego music scene, and the support of the Chaldean and Persian communities.
